1. How is Durham Spine Care different?

We are a modern, progressive office that puts patients first. Our state of the art facility offers the latest in pain management equipment such as class 4 laser, spinal decompression and shockwave. Our therapist also have extensive specialization in manual hands on soft tissue techniques.

2. What is the difference between physiotherapy and chiropractic?

Although both professions focus on helping people recover from injury or improve and maintain health the main difference is that physiotherapy combines massage, manual therapy, and rehabilitative exercises. Chiropractic has evolved from the use of spinal manipulations to support spinal functions and alleviate pain.

3. Do I need to follow the proposed treatment plan?

Yes, it is highly recommended that your follow through with the proposed treatment plan from your provider. This will ensure you are getting the most out of your treatments and a speedy recovery. Most treatment plans range from 4-8 weeks maximum.

4. How do I make an appointment?

Please contact front desk at 905-239-9235 to pre-schedule your appointments and from there one of our administrators will accommodate you as best they can. You can also use our website to book an appointment online.

5. What if I need to cancel an appointment?

Please contact front desk at 905-239-9235 12 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to cancel or change an appointment. Please note, we do not accept cancellations via email. Please leave a voicemail if someone is not able to answer your call.

7. Does Durham Spine Care bill directly to my insurance (Extended Health Care)?

If direct billing is allowed, the clinic will submit all claims on your behalf to your insurance provider via e-claims.
If direct billing is not allowed, we will provide you with a receipt for you to submit to your carrier.

8. Regarding Extended Health Care, is assignment of benefit allowed?

Assignment of benefit is dependent on your insurance provider. The EHC manager or front desk administrators will find out for you before you start any treatments.

9. What is my coverage for treatments and products?

Please contact your health insurance provider to obtain your health coverage. You can verify coverage on your online web portal / app or by simply calling your provider. Our office is here to assist you if necessary. Please see additional handout for all services offered at this facility
