Dr. Mahen has been in private practice serving his community for over 10 years. His interests are in spinal rehabilitation, sports injuries and chronic pain management.
Dr. Mahen uses a variety of treatment approaches to address the needs of his patients.
He is a registered Chiropractor, medical acupuncture provider, registered Trigenics provider and a Diplomate with the Canadian Academy of Pain Management.
He utilizes spinal decompression, class 4 laser and shockwave therapy routinely in his treatments.

After completing his studies at Waterloo in kinesiology, Dr. Asif Sachedina graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2005 and has since worked with a diverse patient population ranging from young children, teens, adults and expectant mothers.
As an IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) specialist and a medical acupuncture provider, Dr. Sachedina is a well-rounded practitioner that heavily focuses on the treatment and prevention of physical injuries. Including using techniques such as IASTM and acupuncture, Dr. Sachedina practices spinal manipulation and exercise rehabilitation. By using movement assessments and various Orhtopaedic testing, he is able to locate the root of the problem and provide case-specific treatments to address underlying causes to relieve symptoms and prevent re-occurrence.
With years of experience in working with car accident and workplace injury patients, Dr. Asif Sachedina also specializes in care for athletes and dancers including ballerinas, contemporary dancers, acrofit, basketball and hockey players. While working with his patients, Dr. Sachedina enjoys educating them about their physiology and understanding how to maintain their optimal health.
Dr. Sachedina is no stranger to an active lifestyle as he often makes time to exercise and play sports – and because he understands the strains placed on the body, he believes that prevention and a healthy lifestyle are the keys to long-term health and happiness. By doing what he loves everyday, he looks forward each day to working with patients in all aspects of their lives and helping them attain and exceed their health and wellness expectations.
When Dr. Sachedina is not in the clinic, you can find him exercising, playing basketball, volleyball or hockey, or travelling with his wife and two daughters.

Born and raised in Ontario, Dr. Sachedina leads by example, adopting healthy choices and exercise in his daily life. A sports enthusiast, he participates in hockey, basketball and volleyball and is a regular at the gym. Dr. Sachedina is also a devoted family man with a wife and a two daughters.
Dr. Abey Thayaparan is a board-certified Chiropractor with a robust background in kinesiology and chiropractic techniques. Growing up in Toronto, Dr. Thayaparan developed a passion for health and wellness early on. He pursued his Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree with Honours from Ontario Tech University.

Ann is a Canadian Board Certified Physiotherapist and has clinical experience in the field for over 7 years. Prior to coming to Canada, Ann had a Massage Therapy background as well in the Philippines.
She has Certifications in Fascial Stretch Therapy Level II, Mastering Shoulder Conditions Level II, Concussion Management, Kinetic Link Training, Craniosacral Therapy, Fascial Manipulation, Functional Range Release Provider, Selective Functional Movement Screening Assessment, Manual Therapy Specialization Mulligan Concept) and Advanced Lumbopelvic among others. She has also volunteered at the Toronto Cardiac Rehab- UHN and worked as a Third Party Assessor for the then Ministry Colleges, Universities and Training now the the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development.
She is a thorough and passionate practitioner who utilizes a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue release, fascial stretching and manipulation, specific therapeutic exercises and modalities to treat acute and chronic pain with special interest in shoulder, neck and back conditions, fracture, post-surgical cases, and other musculoskeletal conditions for all ages.
Ann has consistently provided and excellent client experience to patients she has served. She is happy to serve the people in Ajax and the surrounding communities with the same level of professionalism, compassion and dedication which have been her trademark throughout the years.
Piram graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. Piram’s physiotherapy practice utilizes manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, spinal manipulation, acupuncture, exercise prescription, postural education and other modalities to help resolve muscle and movement imbalances that lead to neuromusculoskeletal injury or impairment. Piram emphasizes patient education in his practice and understands the importance of active participation in the rehabilitation process to restore mobility and function and prevent further injury.
Piram is actively pursuing post-graduate education courses to improve his knowledge and clinical skills in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and treatment of various musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. To maintain an active lifestyle, Piram participates in basketball, martial arts, yoga, and weight training.
With more than 20 years of acupuncture practice experience, Olvia can help treat your pain, such as headaches, neck and shoulder pain, upper and lower back pain, hip pain, limb and joint pain, as well as treatment of some intractable diseases. Treatments features: Acupuncture, Cupping, Acupressure (Traditional Chinese massage) and other treatment techniques.

Wilson graduated from Royal Canadian Massage Therapy College of Toronto as a registered massage therapist and currently holds a good standing as a member of College of Massage Therapy in Ontario. He has pursued further education on deep tissue therapy, reflexology, Tuina and hydrotherapy. Wilson has worked in a variety of health care settings in the GTA.
Jothi is a Social Worker/psychotherapist practicing in Toronto, Canada. She has over 25 years of experience as a therapist and specialises in individual, couple, family and group therapy. Jothi Ramesh has extensive experience in working with clients impacted by MVA. She provides individual therapy to assist with adjustment and recovery post-injury. MVA not only impact the individual but also the family. The sense of identity is changed and the relational dynamics between the victim of the MVA and his /her family is affected. Jothi Ramesh also provides couples, family and addictions counselling post –MVA to support the client and the family reach a family dynamic that closely reflect their pre-accident life.

Jothi Ramesh is the recipient of Placement Supervisor Award, Bridge Training Program for Internationally Trained Psychologists and Allied Mental Health Professionals. Jothi Ramesh has presented at United Nations Women’s Conference, New York on HIV care for racialized women and at North American Refugee Conference on Working with Hungarian clients.
Paul Yoon, B.P.H.E., D.Pod.M., is a chiropodist who graduated from the Michener Institute. Prior to this, he graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors in Physical Health and Education.
Paul Yoon has worked in many different clinical settings including hospitals, private clinics, and community health care centers. This has allowed him to gain valuable experience and extensive knowledge. He has lots of experience with complicated foot cases that often have complex underlying factors and chronic diseases such as diabetes and geriatrics. Paul specializes in biomechanics, ingrown toenails, nail disorders, corns, calluses, warts and wound care such as ulcers.
